Making Future Plans

My brother suddenly passed on about a month ago, before our upcoming family reunion in May. Everyone in the family had been looking forward to this long-overdue reunion. But alas, it was not to be.

When we make future plans, we usually consider only ourselves and the people involved. We almost always forget that it is the Lord who decides the final outcome.

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand. (Proverbs 19:21)

Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established. (Proverbs 16:3)

Therefore, we should remind ourselves of the above Bible verses before we make any future plan. We should also always let the Lord guide us in whatever we do.
