Muslims view Jesus as a prophet. Buddhists do not believe in a Creator God, least of all the Son of God. Taoists believe in many gods. Hindus believe that there is one Supreme God and many lesser gods, but Jesus is not one of them. Judaism does not accept Jesus as the Messiah.
Religious pluralists believe that all religions lead to God, but I beg to differ. Only Jesus leads us to God, as we read in John 14:6:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
It is true that most religions teach love, but people need to accept Jesus as their Saviour and follow His two commandments in order to return to the Father’s house.
Yet time and again it must be emphasised that all nations endorse different schools of thought but that the knowledge about Jesus Christ and His act of Salvation must be taken to every single nation so that their liberation from the form can still be completed on Earth. But people will intensify and deepen their contact with each other around the world and that also means that they can all be informed of Jesus Christ and His act of Salvation; that He can be acknowledged and the devotion to Him can follow, which then will also lead to union with Me, to the return to Me; and that now the release from the physical form is guaranteed, so that the once fallen original spirit reaches its goal and returns home again to its Father’s house to be blissfully happy, as it was in the beginning. (The Word of God, Proclamation 8237)
Because of our apostasy from God, most, if not all, of us are under Satan’s bondage. Only Jesus can free us from this bondage. He has already paid the price by His death on the cross.
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45)
All we need to do to be saved is accept Him as our Saviour.
“Salvation” therefore means “release” from the one who brought death into the world; salvation means accepting the help of Jesus Christ, for without Him the human being is weak as a result of the original sin and the sin of his ancestral parents, which were only atoned for by Jesus Christ’s death on the cross. (The Word of God, Proclamation 6973)
Do not believe people who say that all religions are the same and that different religions are different paths to the same destination. Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. Only Jesus leads us to God.
